About us
We are an indoor cricket facility for use by cricket clubs, organisations and individuals for cricket practice. The cricket school is a social enterprise taken over from the local authority in 2015 and is run by a small body of volunteers. The facility is also used for other forms of leisure activities. We cater for a variety of events, for example, our local Hindu community celebrate the festival of Navratri at the cricket school.
We are a purpose built cricket training facility available to hire, with three lanes and three bowling machines available to hire. We are available for individual and club bookings, other leisure activities can be catered for on request.

Wales Seniors Cricket (+60s and +70) have used Ebbw Vale Indoor Cricket School for many years. The ‘wicket’ is fast and true, and the playing area is sufficiently spacious with the bowlers given generous run-ups. The lighting and whiteness everywhere make visibility excellent and there is due consideration for safety through netting and shields protecting the bowling machines.
Beyond this, spectators are well catered for in a comfortable viewing gallery with seats, warmth, and toilet facilities. The whole building is immaculately clean and those running the centre are unfailingly friendly and considerate. I could not speak more highly of the whole place.
